We are situated on the Queanbeyan River only 20mins from the heart of Canberra. With only short minutes’ walk along the beautiful river to the town centre and you will have the ultimate stay at Riverside Caravan Park whether you are just passing through or looking to immerse yourself in everything the region has to offer.
Our park offers open access to the river and is not fully enclosed, allowing guests to enjoy the natural surrounds and riverside setting throughout their stay.
We have a variety of camping sites to suit the needs of everyone, all with power, water and access to council Wi-Fi. We pride ourselves on our secure, tree lined, quiet location, an ideal place to sit back and relax.
The Queanbeyan region straddles country NSW and the ACT, making it the perfect for those looking to escape the city. Queanbeyan often holds a range of events and festivals throughout the year and is also located near Canberra’s wine region. For more of an outdoors adventure Queanbeyan has stunning national parks and is the gateway to the Snowy Mountains. Queanbeyan has something for everyone.
Check-in time is 12 noon and check out is 10am.
Our accommodation in Canberra offers 24-hour check-in to provide you with flexibility and convenience. We understand that travel plans can change, and you may arrive later than anticipated. With our 24-hour check-in, you can arrive at any time that suits you best, with our friendly staff just a quick call away. Whether you arrive early in the morning or late at night, we want to make sure that you have a hassle-free check-in experience, so you can start enjoying your stay with us right away.
We operate as a remotely managed park, with support available 24/7 by phone. A staff member visits the park every day to assist guests and ensure everything is running smoothly.

Riverside Caravan Park is a pet-friendly park. Your socialised dog is welcome to join you in the Park. Please note there is a limit of 1 dog per site unless by prior agreement. You must advise us that you have a dog(s) prior to arrival.
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all of our guests (two and four legged), there are a few requirements for having your dog stay:
* It is expected that dogs are not aggressive, inclined to bark and fully vaccinated.
* Dogs must be on leash and supervised at all time in the park.
* Please ensure you pick up after your dogs, doggie bags are available if you did not bring your own.
* If your dog can not comply with any of the above they will be asked to leave, and you will need to go with them with no refund provided.
All sites at our caravan park come equipped with access to both power and water for the entire duration of your stay — and yes, this includes camping bookings. Whether you’re in a van or a tent, you’ll enjoy the convenience of essential amenities right at your site.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all our guests, we kindly ask that dogs are kept on a lead at all times while within the park grounds. This helps maintain a peaceful atmosphere for everyone staying with us. We also ask that pet owners clean up after their animals and avoid leaving them unattended at any time during their stay.
With plenty of riverside walking paths and green spaces nearby, QRCP is the perfect place for you and your pet to explore, relax, and enjoy your holiday together.

QRCP is a pet-friendly caravan park, ideal for your Canberra trip. You are more than welcome to bring your four-legged friend, however, we kindly ask that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times within the park, you clean up after them, and don’t leave them unattended in the park.

Our park contains state of the art camp kitchen, a perfect place to socialise and cook up a storm. Features include BBQ, oven, hotplate, fridge, freezer, microwave and toaster as well as a large seating area to for guests to enjoy.

We’re located on the beautiful Queanbeyan River and share space with the public walking and cycling path. The park is not fenced along the river (as this is council land), but vehicle access is tightly controlled by a boom gate, and amenities are secure with fob access. We also have flood lighting and CCTV. A 24-hour caretaker is always available.
We find most guests love the open riverside setting, but if you prefer a fully enclosed park, please get in touch so we can help you decide if we’re the right fit or suggest an alternate venue.

Our laundry facilities, within the amenities building are self-service, making it easy for you to get your washing done whenever it’s convenient for you.
